Located at the Albert Dock, the Merseyside Maritime Museum tells the story of Merseyside's unique maritime heritage. Collection highlights include ship models, maritime archives and paintings and colourful posters from golden age of liners. The museum is also home to the Seized, The Border Force's and Customs Uncovered gallery. Major exhibit contain 'Titanic and Liverpool: the untold story'.

Currently Maritime Archives is temporarily closed to the public from 1 September 2017 until autumn 2018, due to Sea Galleries development.
