The Lake District is the UK’s Largest and most visited National Park. It is the largest area of land to be named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy incredible scenic views of this beautiful landscape on a day trip to one of the most dramatic lakes in the Lake District – Derwent Water. One of the best ways to see the area is to go on a lake cruise! Join us as we enjoy a relaxing 50 minute boat ride around Derwent Water near Keswick taking in the views of the mountains and islands of the Lake. After this we will have an optional short walk to Friar’s Crag to take in a famously beautiful view point of the lake. Following the lake visit, you will have free time in the beautiful village of Keswick – a lovely market town with traditional shops, cafes and pubs. Finally, we will take the scenic drive back past the other lakes of Thirlmere, Grasmere and Windermere on the way home.
